Dingercity

2002

350 objects, pedistal

1900 square feet

Dingercity was a one day object/event held on the last day of my six year residence in a Brooklyn loft. A Dinger is a solidification of a fleeting thought, a three dimesional sketch for nothing in particular, an object that exists somewhere between art and not. Dingercity was a structure built from discarded furniture and artworks that mapped the movement and pauses within the space. (See also Dingers under "sculpture.")
