RE>CRETE> is a green building material made from pulped newspaper and junk mail, cut up home electronic wire, ground packing styrofoam, chipped CDS, DVDS and credit cards, dryer lint, bleach, glass pozzolan, lyme and a little cement.

Initially developed in 2010 and funded by the Guggenheim Foundation in 2011, RE>CRETE> was inducted into the Material ConneXion library in 2015. The following images are represtative of various experiments into this conceptual material. The pieces range from modular building block prototypes and excercises in mass production to one-off sculptural portraits.
